       2-nd World Deaf Wrestling Championships

Two bronze medals jeweled Bulgarian participation
       Two bronze medals won Bulgarian team at the 2nd World Deaf Wrestling Championships. The sports event was held in Armenian capital Yerevan 14-21 September.
       Plamen Donchev (66 kg) and Ivan Angelov (74 kg) won the medals in the free style.
       In his road to the bronze, Donchev defeated Aydin (Tur), but in the next round he lost from russian Zoktoev, who took the gold. In the next round bulgarian wrestler defeated the host representative - Saribekyan and earned the third place.
       Angelov has a lucky lot for the first fight and continued to the next round without play. But in second he lost from Guzel (Tur), who took the silver medal in category. In the next fight Bulgarian athlete achieved to prevail over the danish Sepasgozar and also earned the third place. The gold was won from Daryani (Iran).

       The rest of Bulgarian wrestlers earned the following places - Angel Kremov (55 kg) - 7, Rusin Rusinov (60 kg) - 8, Angel Zenov (84 kg) - 7 and in the heaviest Goran Goranov (120 kg) - 5.
       Rissia won the team ranking, following by Ireland and Turkey. Bulgarian team took 5th place.
       In the Greco-Roman style our wrestlers did not reach to the medals and took the following places -  Angel Kremov - 9, Plamen Donchev - 6, Ivan Angelov - 6, Angel Zenov - 7 and Goran Goranov - 7.
       Bulgarians took 8th place in team competition. Champion is Ireland, following by Turkey and Ukraine.
